Blogger and Picasa can be valuable tools in a classroom as follows: - Depict a vacation to students (allows them to view a different location that might never visit) - Create a presentation about a particular subject using Picasa (teacher can dress up like oh let us say Bill Nye and create a presentation at home to be presented to the class...be creative) - Blogger can allow students, preferably of older age to discuss issues that may be having in a class and bounce ideas off of one another about upcoming projects or tests (promotes peer teaching) - Blogger can allow you to stay in touch with your students' parents or guardians while eliminating the middle man of getting the information home - Blogger can be used by colleagues to much of what I said in example 3...bounce ideas off of one another and form lessons that can extend across the curriculum
